Is the video link not working or something? I have tried everything I can think of and it won't show the video on the page. |

Videos on the forum or on the website? I just checked the links on the website and it looks like the majority of them are outdated or have been removed. Hopefully, with the revival, some of our members will go through and check and remove the old links that don't work anymore

I messed around with it and tried different options and all didn't work. I'm guessing it is because the forum software is out of date and isn't compatible with current formatting. When Arweb has time, she said that she'll update it. Until then, we'll just have to post links instead of embedding videos! Sorry! |

I posted this in the 'Music Video of the Day' thread in the music form and thought I'd post it here... To get a youtube vid to display using the 'youtube' button, there is a couple things you need to do... First, Copy the Url from the browser you have the youtube vid playing on. Make sure this url is from the video directly, not from a playlist or if you found it from that sidebar of videos. It shouldn't make a difference, but it does as the extra routing code in the url makes it inaccesable for linking. Second, after you click the 'YouTube' button, paste the copied url between the YouTube code, and (this is the key) remove the 's' after the 'http' and before the ':'. The s is for a secure url, and it wont link. Do these things and your youtube vid will display. |
