i agree completley! People around here are so nice and the place is highly moderated.

i like all the people. it's more than just the large the community, it's the fact of how big the heart is of the website. everyone basically loves everyone and it's just so wonderful

Two of the neatest/most unique things about A-U (IMO) are:
The large community (like everyone else has said ). There's so many different people around here and everyone is extremely nice and loving. Also there's always someone you can find to talk too and who thinks/likes what/how you do.
but I also like all the different sections there are to go to. If you've looked all you want in one you can go to another… and when you're bored you go out of your normal haunts and explore more. there's almost no limits on what you can do here.

"Number of different sections"

It is amazing fun and so interactive, there is so much to do. Easy to occupy yourself with for a few hours.

Everything up there makes the site really unique! The Layout is different (I haven't seen any website like this before, black and blue and cool in more ways than one - gives it a feeling of calmness.) You make friends among the mods - they aren't strange beings standing aloft. They're great supportive figures I reckon. Not to mention, the polls ensure an even-sided approach and everyone gets a fair say. The gallery and info bits are really detailed and it's obvious somebody has put in a lot of effort into making this the best site ever.

I picked the community because I just love the people here on the forums! I also think the moderators do a good job of being people, and not automated criticism machines like some other forums. If I could, I'd pick every one of the options above.

I also think the site is a wonderful place to go to if you need anything. The people here are friendly, and no matter what you feel like when you come here, you're always happy afterward.

Well, I put other because it's not the fact that the community is large, but don';t get me wrong on a board like this it's kinda cool how fast threads in some sections can move. We can make e-mail look obsolete, but because we're a seething internet community but we're sane at the same time as being rabid fans. I've been on other boards that the people on it are so... nuts they make me loose faith in humanity just a little more... (12 pages of people comparing notes on how they have transcended dimensions and are actually faeries) and don't constantly complain in the boards about your life. You guys are my breath of fresh air on the Internet!

I just love everything! The friendly and large community! The layout! The graphics! The way I can be involved with the site! It's so amazing!

I voted other because A-U is unique and a friendly place. No other LoTR-site is the same than this. Of course there are other sites where people are as friendly but still this is a unique place and I'm honored to be part of this.

The community and also since I'm familiar with it and I KNOW one person here :D

I voted 'Other' because this place seeoms to have a fairly stable host and solid board coding. It has become aged in 2018, and the general ghost town feel doesn't really drive an update, but it is quite a solid playground!
