Oh, that's very good news. Although 2011 and 2012 is a logn ways away!! that's like 3-4 years. Why so long?

I just read on the other thread that it was set to come out in 2010 but there was a lawsuit that might prevent that.... lol I don't know

If they screw up the Hobbit, I'm gonna start a riot!
Seriously, though, I would. I'm one of those fanatics who rant about everything they did wrong/left out in the first 3 movies, so this is kind of iffy for me. I can't wait to see it (I'm ecstatic and it's the latest thing my friends tel me to shut up about) but I hope they don't completely ruin it. It's not that hard a storyline to folow, but they have to change something. It's not that hard a movie to mess up, either, what with our "give the public what [we think] they want" movie-makers...
Ok, I'll stop ranting.....
