Post subject: The Great A-U Reformation

Hey everyone! A-U is starting to, well, reform a bit. Crack down on stuff, make changes to rules, finally institute some suggestions we've had from members, etc. etc.

Naturally not all of these changes will be implemented at once. The first--making posts made in Misc. Randomness not count toward a user's total post count--is just one in a series of reforms that will be coming your way soon. Check this thread for more news on changes!

The second act in the Reformation is that A-U has new ranks! They are as follows:

Movie Extra (1-25)
Hobbit (25-50)
Dwarf (50-100)
Rider of Rohan (100-200)
Gondorian (200-400)
Dunadan (400-600)
Ent (600-800)
Half-elf (800-1000)
Elf (1000-1500)
Ringwraith (1500-2000)
Istari (2000-3000)
Balrog (?) (3000-4000)
Maia (4000-5500)
Vala (5500-7000)
Tolkien Scholar (7000-9000)
Choose your own rank title! (9000+)

As always, please don't start spamming just to get to the next rank - we are going to be enforcing the rules more closely in the future!

Third act of the reformation! The rules have been revised! Please pay close attention to the new religion rule and the always post with content rule. There are various changes to other rules, too. And remember, if you've never looked at the rules (shame, shame :fish: ), or if you haven't gone over them in a while, now is a great time to start!

The FAQs have also been slightly updated - nothing major, just a few modifications to explain about the postcount being turned off on Miscellaneous Randomness, and an explanation of the new ranks.
