If you have Photoshop, variations is a great tool for getting the right skin tones. I also use curves and a bit of channel mixer. Experimentation is key.

I've fiddled with curves, but haven't considered channel mixer. I'll give it a go on my next one. Thanks.

Even In Darkness [Updating]

Got in the last DC a bit late, but it will run until we take it down tomorrow sometime, not necessarily right at the official close. The Cookoff itself will be closed July 1st at 12AM Greenwich Mean Time, as planned.

Judges, Smeag and I will be contacting you for the details on everything as soon as we can. We'll help out with the counting and get together the entries for each Challenge for you to vote on. If you could send your votes to me, that would be super.

RL has taken over my life with trips to the beach, sunburns, and movies and haven't been able to get on for days. I am uber behind and hope to make a heck of a lot of graphics soon.

I know that feeling. There are some subjects that I haven't even started working on. Oh well, it's been loads of fun!

I was cured all right.

I stopped freaking out about the amount of graphics to make a long time ago. I made one retouch and one banner yesterday. I'm proud of what little I've done, and I've managed to get re-obsessed with retouching again! Overall, a grand success.

Time for my run through for everyone. First of all, may I just say what a FANTASTIC collection of graphics we have here. I'm pretty sure between everyone, we've represented most of the television shows hits . But seriously, they are all just wonderful.
