Hehe, I don't think I'm very good at animals, too much fur. O_O

I did a car, that's the closest I've come to still life. I have to say though, that my heart lies with drawing portraits, something about drawing the human is just so real and alive about it.

Hi guys, I wanted to post what I'd been working on for the past few weeks on and off. Again, this one was done without blending tools, I'm trying to learn the new technique. Don't worry, Kit! It just takes time and practice (I know that sounds cliché, but it's depressingly true). I try not to use too sharp of a pencil, either, kind of at a 60-degree angle? After a while of drawing like that, the graphite will wear down to a flatter area, that's ideal. And for unblended, don't do the "layering" thing like for the blended drawings. If you layer, it starts looking smoother, so for example, if I need a dark area, I don't just lay on more HB, rather I use the 3B in one layer, one shot.
