You are really doing a great job. My only advice at the moment, is try and experiment with the transparent text - overlay, soft etc.
BTW, what is your new programme? Thanks for your comment, JF!  I'm really happy to hear that you like them.  And thanks for the tip concerning the text. I'll try that out as soon as I've figured out where to change that. Some of the stuff was done with a 30-days trial version of photoshop. I've really fallen in love with that wonderful programme and thought about buying it, but when I checked the prices at amazon, I was nearly knocked down from my chair... So, I've bought a new version of PhotoImpact instead. That's the programme I've been using before as well, but now I'm the proud owner of version 11 instead of version 6. It's much more comfortable and you can do much more with it, but unfortunately it's also much more complicated. But I'll get used to that... I came across the Liv as Audrey pic this morning and felt that I had to make something with it at once, as it's so beautiful!
Well, that's the new banner I've made today:
While working on the banner I figured out more or less accidentally how to make a colourization, so here's the premiere for my very first colourization in two different versions:
And I couldn't resist making a wallie out of the original version of the pic and the colourized one:

Awww, thanks so much for your nice comments, Riniel and JF! I'm glad that you both like them. It really makes me happy!
Hmm, making colourizations is in a way pretty addictive and it's so much fun.  I could make my next one right away if I had more time. *sighs*
@JF: I feel really honoured to hear that they are even that good. And concerning Photoshop: Well, my programme is in many parts pretty similar to Photoshop (at least in comparion with the trial version), but it was much cheaper (about 20€).
