you're very welcome, Tur!  pooh, my work isn't really all that... and in time I know you'll be as good as Nurr is! All you have to do is practise, practise, practise.  and it will be possible, dear! You're doing really great. And you know a trick I certainly don't... blending things so they look like they've almost completely dissapeared into the background.  like this banner:

Oooh, I love those 500x150 banners. So pretty. And the calling a curse banner is SWEET! Awesome job with that. And I love the Tolkien quote wallie.

Wow.. the first thing I have to say it that you are AmAzInG with text! I really love the text on the last two banners. Other than that, blending is awesome. In the banner with the eyes, I probably wouldn't use that text particularly. Actually, I would put text on that at all. If you need to, on the bottom would be best and a nice "Felix Tiling" or "All Caps Times New Roman" would be perfect.

)... and I think it really depends on what's on your program. Different programs have differently named tools and different "tricks". But I discovered the "spot healing brush" tool works great for the blending. 
and my program is Photoshop Elements 6.
the colors really stand out... well done! (my very favorite is Beauty 
)
