Thanks Nurr I love it too- I can't remember the last *good* Legolas banner I made, and I thought that needed changing. As for the fadeyness- I found the base image and just thought: "that would look really cool super contrasted on a black background" and it did! ...And besides I needed a new et as my Will one clashed rather horribly with the AU green skin

& a crummy first attempt at the Evenstar contest (too dark, ugly colouring D: ) I don't know why but I get inspiration to make make graphics that look like a full-blown landscape scene- especially with LotR- which BTW is infuriating due to the fact that PJ loves to chop the tops off people's heads/ buildings/ bgs. I tried that here and it didn't work, and slapping A+A on it didn't help



& Thorin, because I wanted to make something with him in- hugely rushed, as I wanted to watch the apprentice lol I wanted to get smaug in there, but could not find an appropriate dragon pic D:


BTW I am thinking of trying to make another tutorial, is there any specific banner (from this thread, or the requests) that people want to see as a step-by step??? I find it easier to work through a PSD, than start from scratch because I'm lazy
