Yeah, I thought you might be... First when you changed usernames and started posting I was like "O-o Who is this???" But then I looked in your profile and it said you like sea lions so I figured it must be you.

Oh, I'm not sure if I posted this before, but here's a sketch I did for an English project at school spring of this year. The assignment was to draw an interpretation of a Greek mythology character you were assigned. My duty was Echo. I'm too lazy to tell the story, so if you're curious, look her up. It may explain why I chose Emmy Rossum to model after. Not too proud of this one though, just wanted to post it to show the progress I made. Enjoy!

The position is perfect, excellent shading, I love the eyes and lips.
The eyes and lips look like the hardest.

I think that Emmy Rossum is brilliant! The hair doesn't seem right though, maybe over detailed (if that's possible).

Thanks, The hair is just too light, and I don't think there's enough contrast to match with the darkness of the eyes. Not sure why I did that.

Yes very traditional. Evreyone else is just taking the easier faster way out by doing it on the computer.....some of the things are beautiful but I don;t think they will be as cherished as your drawings!

It's finally here! Twippo's first sketch!
I remember sitting on the couch drawing this back in '04. Well, now I draw on a table, definitely makes a difference.

I hope that this is of some inspiration to aspiring traditional artists out there. You don't really need the talent, more like the patience and the willpower. If you want to do it, you can. And as cliche as this sounds, it just takes practice. And draw what you like, don't draw to please others. You're not doing this for anyone but yourself. So get out there, grab a pencil and paper, and get down to business!

That is awesome!! I love the eyes and the hair the best.

My first drawing would probably look like a wierd deformed stick person.
