I'm really sorry about this, guys. I keep on meaning to make something, but I promptly forget about it. And...I got on AU for about a minute last night, and I'm on for about 10 minutes right now. I don't know about tomorrow, either. I'll see what I can do tomorrow!

Finally! I had a really hard time getting the inspiration to make something for Shadows. I love this song, but it doesn't really scream any certain thing or fandom to me.
Estie: That picture is gorgeous! I'm thinking you have an obsession with sunsets and sunrises like me. I really like the texture, too. I used Times and Times Again as the main font, and Times New Roman and Evanescent as the smaller fonts. You were right! Yay for font freaks!
AF: I've always loved your complex layering. I could look at one of your blends for hours and always find something new! I'm especially drawn to the music lines and notes in this one. The burnt look really adds to the subject as well! I'm glad you liked my last blend!

As you can see, I'm messing around with my style, and I think I've developed a new version of it. Tell me what you think! *points to sig as well*

AF: I love the colors in that blend! You seem to be able to do warm colors really well, and it works because it adds a lot of intensity to the blend...I love the way you did the text, like usual, and I love how simple it seems at first but the closer I look the more complex it gets...
Rose: Yeah, I am obsessed with sunsets and sunrises...and clouds in general. And the clouds that night were amazing. Whoa, looks like you've been doing a lot of experimenting! It turned out really well. Just the way the blending is...it's so unusual and it works really well!
I find it amusing how we all used a warm color theme for the song Shadows--you would think that would make us think of blues and purples, but noooo...
Ah, Ordinary World. Such a melancholy but beautiful song. It gave me a bit of trouble at first, because it doesn't fit any fandom...but I just kept thinking of this last scene in RotK and went with that. This album is just perfect for Frodo and Anakin. I've probably said that before.

Rose, I love the way you did the text on that one - what font is that? I'd love to download it.
Estel, those lyrics fit so perfectly it's scary... *hugs Frodo*
This was somewhat hastily constructed, but hopefully it's alright. Considering I just saw Red in concert last week, I couldn't resist using some of my own photography for this one, to break the trend a little...

*slinks in* So, I meant to make something yesterday, but I just didn't happen, and today I'm with my grandparents who don't have Photoshop. I have not forgotten about this.

*double post*
I finally have time to make something!
Sis, I absolutely love what you did to Frodo's eyes. That's my favorite part of the banner. Frodo is perfect for this song, even though it never would have crossed my mind to use him. I really like the darker theme this banner has as well!
Tariel, I'm in awe of your photography skills. If I was at a concert and took pictures, everything would end up as little blurs of light...and that would be it. I've always loves that font that you used for the second half of the text. I might have already asked this, but what is it called? The font I used on my other banner is called Impact. A few days ago I saw it in a commercial and freaked out.
At first I didn't have any idea of what to use for this song because it could suit so many things. Finally, I thought of The Day After Tomorrow, in which the entire Northern Hemisphere is taken over by another ice age. I thought that suited a few lines of this song pretty well. I don't especially like this banner at all, but I guess it will do.

I would just like to say that my volley might not be done for a while because I'm at a complete lost at what to do. But I haven't forgotten about it.

Not happy with it, but I'm completely braindead.
AF--That is awesome photography. Like SR I'm curious to know what font you used on the bottom...
SR--That's an awesome movie! It never crossed my mind to make graphics of it. The blending is amazing--I'm really liking this new style of yours.

*slinks into thread*
AF is done with finals, and the first two trips of the summer. She can finally finish this battle.
The font on the last one is... 3 grammes 5. It's really interesting.
For this volley I went with a somewhat simple look. I didn't really know where I was going with it until I was done.

Yes! Now it's summer, I can actually finish this quickly, if we get back into it... so long as we finish before the 18th, when I leave for California.

*slinks in* Yeah, I'm the one that let this battle die. Thanks for bringing it back, Estie! Tariel, I'm going to be gone for about 4 days next week with no computer access, so I hope we can get this done before then!
I've always thought that this scene with Frodo and Sam fits a few of lines so perfectly. It just popped in my head one day and now I associate those lines with this scene!
On a very random note, I'm currently obsessing over another couple. And I have it bad. Look out, AU!

I guess it's my turn to say mea culpa now. >.> No valid excuse, so, I guess we'll just get on with it.
AF: Very nice! The simplicity actually works really well for the message of the blend. =] I like how you faintly blended in Denethor, too.
Sis: O.O That is insanely epic! The blending and images you used are fantastic, I love the colors, and the lyrics fit perfectly! It's one of my faves from this battle so far. =3
So, of course, Take It All Away immediately made me think of Frodo. I wanted to do something a little different, but my brain failed me. xD So, here we are...

The blending really bothers me, but I didn't notice it until I had already merged the layers together and done all the coloring and stuffs. '-_- It's actually a really simple banner as far as coloring goes, really, I didn't do that much, and I didn't use any textures, but...it's something.
