Argh!!!! You are so good you put my art teacher to shame! I have tried to do portraits , but I have figured I am good at still life ....without a back ground.....I have an art thread of mine somewhere on here and it all just turns out blah ........., but you are truly amazing !!!!

Thank you! Well, when you find the thread, would you please post the link? I would love to see your art! :)

Cool, I haven't really done still life, it's totally different than portraits in the sense of shapes and depth. So you're probably better than me at it. ;)

Ok! I posted there! :)
That's ok, patience and effort was only something I acquired not too long ago, but it keeps building up as you get better, you'll see, the more time you spend on a drawing the better the outcome. But I mean that in more like taking each individual step slower, rather than finishing the main stuff faster and spending a lot of time touching up, because that usually doesn't work for me...

I usually spend lots of time on shaping and then get a little sloppy on shading..... ...I have gotten a bit better since my last drawing...( the tree) , but I really don't draw that often.....

Aw, really? You should get back into it! It's really a nice talent to pick up! I usually do drawings for people for Christmas, birthdays, etc. To me it's definitely better than something bought at a store, because there's only one of it!

Thanks mucho Kitoky! :) I'm not sure I'm ready to part with it yet though. ;)

I have done a paid commission for school and that's about it. I did do a couple portraits for friends though, one for Christmas and one because she was leaving.

Well you could sell those easy even if they were just copies. Lots of people out there are into Marilyn and other actresses.

Yes, I see lots of people selling their drawing prints around Santa Monica Pier and places like that. It's an idea.
