These are some LOTR wallpapers I made during the peak of the films' popularity. The first two were my early attempts, so they aren't the best, but weren't too bad for my first time using a picture design program. I'm most proud of the third one, and the poem on the fourth was pretty good, I thought.

. I just picked a green background, pasted a screencap on it, added a couple of graphics I found online, and put in a pair of quotes using a cool font I found. One of my favorite scenes in FOTR.

Did a little better with this one. I was inspired to do it after finishing a mixed-media drawing of them with the same name, but different arrangement. I'd love to show it to you guys, but I don't have a scanner
. The background is a desktop I downloaded from DeviantArt.com. Graphics and font are the same ones I used in Desktop 1 above, and are from the same sites as those. Two of my most fave characters in the series.

My favorite of the four. I did this one after looking on Deviantart for LOTR desktops, and being surprised that no one had done something like it. The words (and the title) are, of course, from Led Zeppelin's song "The Battle of Evermore"
. The background is a scan of the back cover of the soundtrack, and the other pictures are bits from other LOTR desktops I downloaded. ROTK would have to be my favorite film in the trilogy

The most recent one. The background and the map are both from two other desktops I have. The poem is my own (the first four parts of it are in my sig
), written after I'd watched the extended version of
The Two Towers. As with the pictures of the characters in Desktop 3 above, the ones in here are all parts of other desktops in my rather large collection
