Very basic and a nice start for someone new to graphics. I like the simple simplicity of it. The emotion is all you need.

Awesome! I have Photoshop 7 as well, and I started off the same way. A good tutorial for me was Oro's Photoshop tutorials in the Resources and Tutorials section --- check it out!

I couldn't have stated it any better. The emotion is indeed all you need.

I make my graphics in Jasc Paint Shop Pro, but the animations I do in Adobe Photoshop. It doesn't matter where you make it, I only matters where you get the inspiration! Because good inspiration drives you to make the most of it. So go out there and check out other peoples graphics (contest-vote-topics are an easy start). If you see something you like, try to make something simular. Any guidance can be found right here. I did get a lot of help from A-U members who are way better then me as it comes to graphics.
