*Loves it* :jawdrop: *dies*

One thing you might want to do a little differently is the banner size... Maybe 700x150. Just a suggestion. :)

perfect! I know how much GIMP can be a pain(been suing it for a couple months) but you've managed to whack it in to submission, great job!

thanks for that. i have been having trouble trying to get the sizes right. for some reason, i can't get 700x150 banners to work (the images aren't big enough, or makingthe banner that wide wrecks the compostion) but i have managed a couple of 600x150 ones which i'll post soon.

You also might want to try 500x135, I find that size is a nicely proportioned size.

Those are good! I like the Lothlorien and the PotO ones the most. And the Tolkien one is great!

Eowyn, your banner 'time halted' is beautiful and so is your avatar! I wish that I could make banners such as yours and others. :confuzzled: but I'm relative new to all of these graphics and I owe mine to other talented persons. :goofy: It seems that the programs are expensive. Continue to excersise your talent and I'll be checking to see more of yours and others creations! ;)

^ the 'time halted' one in my signature was made by sidhion, not me (i do say that underneath the banner). the ones in the main body of the post are all mine though.

photoshop and that are really expensive, but i downloaded the GIMP programme for free off the internet. can't rmember the url of the site, but just put it in google and you should find it.

Eowyn, you have good taste in picking your banner! I'm sorry for the mistake. As to the program, thank you for the info. 8)
