This battle is going to be blends (700x500) and will be taking place in this order
Round 1: Episode 1
Round 2: Queen Amidala
Round 3: Obi-Wan
Round 4: Episode 2
Round 5: Padme and Anakin
Round 6: Group, (Padme, Anakin, Obi-Wan)
Round 7: Episode 3
Round 8: Darth Vader
Round 9: Padme's funeral
Round 10: Your choice!
I know this isn't how it would normally work, but Evenstar and I figured this way we could have a longer battle!
I'll post round one as quick as possible! (Unless Eve beats me too it!)

Limwen - Villya [Round 01]: Very very touching first volley to start it off!! The mother/son relationship isn't emphasized that much unless you really pay attention. I definitely like the texture/overall background, the grainy, grungy feel like a distant memory.
Evenstar of mirkwood [Round 01]: I like the fill-layer effects you did with it and how the repeating images were placed is interesting. The grungy-splots are interesting as well.
Both [Round 01]: I like the feel of the volleys. You two were doing similar styles but there's differences as well. You both used one image and just repeated it. You both used some grungy brush and used a repeating pattern for the images. I love 'em.

I also had trouble getting it to load, and when it did load, it was very slow.
It could be a glitch in the uploading on imageshack. Limwen -- -you might want to re-upload and re-link it and see if it's a bit faster.

But, sorry my next volley is taking so long! I should have it up by tomorrow.
And I'll upload the link again, I have no idea why its working so slow.
Thanks for the wonderful comments guys! You all are so kind!

I don't really have time to comment on each volley individually right now, but all of these pieces are wonderful!!
