Here is my (currently) small collection of art. It's mainly made up of stuff I saw and then went, "Hey! I want to try that!" Then I went and messed around for awhile, and this is what I came up with. :-D

I have some of my older stuff up also, from when I first started. It's not really bad, but it isn't great.

Image
^I had fun with this one, figuring out about layers.....

Image
^I could probably redo this, and make it better, but I'm to lazy. :-D

Image
^This was for a contest on another site. I had to use non-speaking elves.

Image
^This is a remake. The first one was a weird size, so I redid it as a normal banner.

Image
^This is a spoof on a Falcon Northwest ad in my brothers computer magazine. I was messing with this picture and got the idea.

Image
^Another Falson NW. This time with Galadriel.

There is a colorization battle going on, and I looked at it and wanted to make a colorization. So I made four.

Image
^I think this one is my favorite. It's also the first one I finished.

Image
^They did this one in the battle, but I made my own version of it. With a fall theme.

Image
^Again, they did this in the battle, although, my versions don't look the same really. Especially this one.

Image
^I'm not normally a big fan of Paris Hilton, but this picture makes her look somewhat normal. I wanted to see what she'd look like with her original dirty blond hair and brown eyes, and I think she looks better this way. :)

That's it for now, although, I'll probably make tons more....

I once made a banner like the top thing. [yours is better]

I like the colorizations.

Somehow I doubt that! I'm pretty sure that's one of the first things I ever made. (The earlier ones I didn't bother to save. I guess I didn't think they were worth it.) Looking at it now, I would tweak the pictures some before I would make it, it would probably make it look better.

Anyhow, I made more banners. I have way to much time on my hands. :-D

Your banners and blends are really nice but your colourizations are stunning!! :jawdrop: Really, really first class. I especially like the first two. Can't wait to see more. :-)

I love the Triple Fiddle banner.
I play the fiddle, and there's three people in my class [counting the teacher] so I laughed when I saw that.
And 'Kitchen Sink'...
That's really random.

Actually, "Kitchen Sink" is a song I listen to, by Amon Tobin. As is "Big Furry Head", and "Rhino Jockey." So they sound more random than they really are. :-D

I realized after I made them, I should have put that they were songs somewhere on them, otherwise people would think I was crazy. :psycho: I think that is the only banner I've ever seen with a kitchen sink on it.

"Death by Triple Fiddle" is another song, by a bunch of different artists. The whole album has some great songs on it. I'm probably going to make another banner for a song off of it.

Your colorizations are really amazing, although the 'severed head' scares me. :teehee:

I'm not a big fan of Paris Hilton either, but your colorization makes it look like she's actually human.

I say, "That's wicked skills!"

Awesome job.

Thank you! :-D I recently realized I had missed some spots on that picture, but it's not really noticeable. I think.....

More Stuff!

^Banner and Avatar made for Fair Rider

Image
^Banner made for Feanaro Calalean

And some colorizations.
Image
^Made for colorization challenge on Johnny's Fan's website. I don't know if it went through though.... My computer can be weird.

Image
^Picture of a random band I found. I had never heard of them, but liked the picture. :-D It's not my favorite colorization though. It looks.... weird.

I love your composition. :-o it's flawless!

Yep, I got your entry - and I LOVE it!! That in my mind, is a perfect colourization. :D

I like the one of the band....but it is weird...but it's not because of you....it's the image itself, it just looks like un-natural poses, almost like they were made of wax. :teehee:

:jump: Ooh! Look at all the pretty compliments! :-D I'm glad you liked the band, I almost didn't put it up because it looked weird. :-D

Your welcome. :-) Did you use a photo comparison for Sean Astin or did you just choose whatever colours you wanted?

A combination, I looked at several photos, to see what colors he was wearing, and what color his hair was. (I couldn't remember.... ) Then I colorized it using what ever color I thought was closest. :)

Yes, I always try and find the original photo (if it was in colour to begin with) or a similar photo, to get a good match for the hair, skin and eyes. If I'm making something for a contest, I'll try and use different colours for the clothes, otherwise I just try and make it match. :-)
