I've just recently learned how to color pics...they're not that good, so please bear with me

Very nice! :-D I love the Aslan one!!

When you sharpen the pic a lot make sure you use your blur tool to smooth out the skin. It makes a load of difference.

Wow! You're doing very very well for someone who's recently learned how to colour pics. I really like the sharpness of the Aslan colourization and your Aragorn avatar looks fantastic. The glowy effect is great.
