Hello all!  Well Rose of Rivendell and I decided to do an LotR battle. Our theme will be the characters of LotR. So without further ado....
Rules:
-There will be twenty rounds, each of us will do each character
-Each volley must have atleast one black and white image
-You must include either a movie quote, or song lyrics in your volley
Rounds:
1.Arwen
2.Aragorn
3.Legolas
4.Galadriel
5.Frodo
6. Eowyn
7. Faramir
8. Aragorn & Arwen
9. Aragorn & Legolas
10. Frodo and Sam

Rose, that's gorgeous!  I really love the soft, muted colors and then that bright pop of red in her dress! Nicely done! The brushwork is really good, too.

Wow, beautiful volleys, both of you!  Rose, I love the colors and the aged feel you gave it. EA, the coloring you used really brought out the red of the dress! They're both so beautiful, I can't wait to see more! _________________ going on a journey through my old claims

Rose of Rivendell: I have only one word to say. WOW! Your volley is absolutely gorgeous. I love how, although simple looking, there are alot of beauiful elements. I love how the backround is kinda muted with the coloring and then Arwen is wearing the red dress. It just pops out so stunningly! Great Job.
Elven Archer: Oh my! I just love your volley. It is looks so fresh looking. I love the black and white color scheme with only Arwen's dress being red. It adds a touch of elegance to it.  Another thing that I just loved was the way your presented the text. I dont know why, but I just love it! Brilliantly made overall!
I can't wait to see what you both come up with next in the upcoming rounds!

Your blend is absolutely brilliant. It's really leaving me speechless. *searches for some words*
The black and white overall colour fits so well with Arwen's red dresses and the other red elements. Moreover, I really like the quote you've chosen and the way you've arranged it as well as the other text. And the Evenstar gives everything a "last touch". It really looks absolutely amazing, stunning, breathtaking, elegant, beautiful...*could go on for ages*!

Rose - I adore your first one. The selective coloring is just stunning!! I really love the style and the border! Great job!
EA - Lovely job!! I love it mainly for its simplicity. The b&w and red mixed together looks amazing!! I really like the brush and the text! Amazing job!!
Rose - second volley - Amazing yet again! I am really loving the coloring and the amazing texture in the background! Gorgeous!

I love it! As Thenediel said, I love the colors....and then arwen in black and white with her red dress really stands out....it's amazing!
(although mine isn't half as great as hers!)

That is just sooo amazing Rose. I think you are getting better at graphics before my very eyes.
