Right, sorry about the delayed reaction... forgot to check my PMs for a while. On the brushes and textures, I used to get mine from Magic Box, but not sure where they went (if anyone knows, I'd be happy for some enlightenment.)

I usually put them on top of the layers and set the mode to color or overlay. Try playing around with the opacity and layer orders as well.
you can find/download brushes on those same sites, granted they're compatible with your program. what graphics program do you use? _________________
