From posting all of your graphics HERE, and people joining throughout the week, in order to keep the thread clean, post all comments you have about the graphics, the contests, and the speed in this thread.

Hey hon, post a link to this thread in the other one so people know to come here. That way when we yell at them for not reading the rules, the "rule" will actually be there to read. =P

Quick question - given that I'll be out of town the 10th and the 11th, can I still just make those daily challenges ahead of time? Also, if I make something for a contest (within the week of the cookoff), can it still count toward this?

Yes, for both. Anything you make in your graphic program will and can count towards the cookoff. This includes; Contests, Battles, and even Backgrounds to websites.

What's the cookoff?
I saw the graphics posting thread with all the rules and everything but I didn't really get it.

This! This is the cookoff! xD It's a competition between graphic makers to see how many graphics we can all make in a week's time. The challenges are for extra points because they're more specific and require a higher level of skill or stepping out of your comfort zone.

Some of the link for the daily contests aren't working smeag, and I'm a bit confused about what this means:

"Hit list: Colorwheel, Fire & Ice(sorry guys), controversial subjects."

Hit list means the things you're not allowed to use, whether because they're too cliche or they're against the forum rules.

Also, which links are not working for you? I can re-upload them if need be.

It may be that I have to put them in the [url] code.

Everything from challenge #2 down are not showig up on AU, and for most of them when I copied and pasted them into google, they weren't loading there either.

Ah, right I understand now. I take it night and day for example would be alright to use?

Smeag dearest, I just need to ask if the actual judging will be here, or? And is it day-by-day or just at the end?

Judging for challenges is day-by-day, counting up overall points is at the end, Saira.

And yes, JF, Day and Night would be fine. I put the colorwheel up there because I've seen it used so many times it's ridiculous, and Fire and Ice because it was the title I used. But I encourage everyone to be a bit more creative about it than that. =P I've never done these challenges before so it's exciting for me too. =P
