JF - PSP = Paint shop Pro? I'm not familiar with that. I use Photoshop CS2, do you know if there's a similar tool for that program? As for the brightness level, what usually happens to me is that the complete photo becomes too bright instead of the parts which you want to show up 
I must say the Cate volley is gorgeous, although she looks kinda unnatural without the shadows and wrinkles (kinda like Barbie  ). But her eyes...  _________________

JF: Hm perhaps some kind of blur tool.. I should look into the possibility of downloading PS CS3, I think there'll more enhanced tools than in the version I have.
Ah, that makes sense. I should try that. I actually should try to improve my graphic maker skills which are still kinda.. poor.

JF - I really love your Liv Tyler retouch! Awesome 
Will - I have PS CS2 as well and the tool similar to the one JF is talking about is called the "healing brush" tool (it's right under the crop tool in the toolbar) I don't think CS3 is very different from CS2, so I wouldn't d/l it if I were you. However, if you did want to d/l a new version, I'd d/l CS4, as it just came out in September _________________

What I tend to do is duplicate my picture layer, then just use the brightness level/contast and then erase all the areas I didn't want brightened.
