DAILY/WEEKLY CHALLENGE POSTING THREAD
Information
Each artist, like in the main Posting Thread, should have one post to cut down on load time. For posting Daily and Weekly Challenges, go back and edit your first post in this thread. For large images, please use thumbnails.
The Daily Challenges will be posted approximately midnight GMT on the day of and crossed off at midnight GMT the day after, with no other entries accepted. Weekly Challenges will be posted at midnight GMT at the beginning of the Cookoff and crossed off at midnight GMT the day after the Cookoff ends, with no other entries accepted. You can still post what you’ve made in the Main thread, but it will not be put in for judging.
Judging will be done in a first to fourth place format, and extra points will be awarded as well as the points for the graphic itself. For example, first place in a Daily Challenge will get +6 points for a blend, with a total of 12 points, second place will get +4 points with a total of 10 points, etc. These are the only part of the Cookoff besides the “Other” section where skill will be looked at as well as speed, but doing your best is encouraged throughout the Competition. The entire point is to challenge yourself to improve at a fast pace. If you are not satisfied with your own work, challenge yourself to do better.
Remember that your Challenge entries will not be counted unless they are posted here.

Size Requirements: Minimun 600x400

What to do: Choose a city and create a blend featuring one thing you think that city is famous for. No buldings, statues, skylines or monuments can be used as the main images. Objects, inventions, people etc. You can use multiple images of your chosen subject.[/s]
[s]Daily Challenge #2: Pick A Continent
Duration: 12 midnight GMT July 12th until 12 midnight July 13th

What to do: Randomly choose a continent (use a hat or someone's slipper to draw a name out) and create a graphic featuring at least 3 cities from that contient and include the name of the continent you picked.[/s]

What to do: Which country do you most want to visit? Make a graphic with all the sights you would like to see.[/s]

What to do: Create a graphic featuring a cityscape but remove one building/statue from the scene. [/s]

What to do: Create a graphic showing one city in the glory of all the seasons.
Daily Challenge #6: Location, Location

What to do: Create a graphic using a scene from a film or TV show that uses a real location in a city and try to find the same location as it is normally and show both the scene and the normal area. It doesn’t have to match exactly, as long as it is the same building/area/street.
Daily Challenge #7: Start Spreading The News...

What to do: Create a graphic using a song that is about a city or at least mentions a certain city several times. Make a graphic relating to that city and use lyrics from the song.
Daily Challenge #8: Crazy Capitals

What to do: Take the first letter of your Christian name and find a capital city with the same letter. Make a graphic of said city. Or if you have a weird name, use the first letter of your surname.

What to do: Use as many of the following items to create a graphic that shows typical tourist traits. Use these items only.

Daily Challenge #10: Clearly Cultured

What to do: Think of a city that is culturally famous and use what it is famous for in a graphic. It can be music, dancing, museums, shops, restaurants etc.

What to do: Design and create your own travel leaflet, detailing the sights to be seen in the city of your choosing. Must have 3 pages, one of which should depict famous sights with a few lines about each location.
