Starting a new thread because it seems to fit with the whole forum revival thing. Anyway, here's what I've done recently on Photoshop; I'm starting to get back into things, and I feel like I've improved quite a bit in the last week. :P

Whoa Shadow!! This work is so great. At first I wanted to compliment you on 2-3 three graphics but then I realised they are all so well done. Your blending is great and pretty advanced (it seems even to my untrained eye) and I like how you put together your graphics in new original ways. So manny banners are one or two pictures of a character and then some text. You are not afraid to blend the character in next to a background showing something from a different scene like on the last Arwen banner or the Eowyn wallpaper. And that adds that special something to your art! :)

Okay, so you know that I love your work. So much. And this stuff is no exception, so I'm not going to comment on much just because I'd be going "SO GOOD" the whole time. BUT. The A/A banner. I absolutely ADORE that you didn't try to shove their faces in there. I love the concentration on hands. SO AWESOME. I also really really love the big Frodo pic in the Frodo blend. Where is that, exactly? :teehee:

Dammit Skitty- you're so so good!!! I can't get over how mind-bogglingly amazing your blending/ overlaying of images is- Especially on your Eowyn one- I can't get over how beautifully her hair fades into the scene of Theoden. I'm also drooling over your colouring in the 2nd Frodo one - he really looks like a fragile china-doll and it's beautiful!

Ahhhhh so many lovely comments, where to begin. :P

@MoBo: I'm happy to see it popping up too. :P I forgot how much fun it is and now I'm feeling ridiculous for ever leaving/stopping. :duh:

@Ea: It's always interesting to see what other people notice about my work, thanks for the fabulous comment. :)

@Nurr: I think that one's from the beginning of TTT, it's just an unusual cap where he's in the middle of turning his head. Sometimes those can be fun to use. :)

@Lembas: Whoa whoa whoa YOU'RE envious of ME? That's all backwards, I'm envious of YOU. :P Really, seeing your gorgeous graphics makes me want to try harder. :whistle:

I love your work ~ seriously not sure how else to phrase that without sounding cliche and generic. It is just so beautiful, the blending and smoothness on the Frodo one, and the way his eyes are so sharpened... as if he is looking into my soul :swoon: You truly have a gift my darling <3

That show is giving me all the feels. And I'm only half way through Season 1. It just screams "make TONS of whiny emo graphics" and then I do and then I weep on the inside over how perfect of a show it is despite not being British


... it's been a long week. :lol:
