If I drew something on the wall...I am 26 but I would have serious problems.

what's so bad about drawing on the wall? people paint on them... and the ceiling.... I think... (I'm not talking about one single color... I mean actual paintings) my wall is probably never going to get painted, so might as well decorate it a bit.

*sigh* my poor walls.. and doors.. What happens to my bedroom door when I get bored: Oh... and just so you know... I painted most of that with a foam hair curler thingy... cause I couldn't find any paintbrushes that weren't tiny.

Agreed, those are both really good! Neither of them look at all like a little kid's drawing! I know if I had tried drawing the Two Trees, I would have drawn a trunk with a big squiggly at the top for the leaves. What you could possibly do to take it to the next level is add some nuance, like some texture on the sea and in the grass and some variations in the shades of color. I think you've already done it a little in the leaves, and I really like it! Great art is in the details! (to me, at least. )

lol you really don't think the painting looks like a lil kid did it?? O.o hehe.... I'd draw grass if I knew how to.... lol. I should try that sometime.... Here's my latest drawing.... https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hp ... 7072_n.jpgIt's not as bad as my people drawings usually are, but it's nowhere near as good as I wanted it to be. Hmph. How come nothing ever comes out the way I imagine it? So... can anyone tell who it is? XP Hehe now I can tell if I drew it right.... if anyone knows who it is or not.

Is this Arwen? Sorry if I guessed wrong , but it looks great to me! Nice job with the nose; noses are always a pain to draw.

Ooh, that's really lovely! I always love the old look of manuscripts.
As to drawing grass, a good way to do it is put the pencil (or brush) at the base of where you want the grass to be, then flick it up the page. It will trail off and give the effect of blades of grass.
