I had this idea and I posted it in the Revival Section, but it was suggested that I post it here too,
because the idea is Fan Art themed.
The idea is to use YouTube to help get more traffic to A-U. Tons of people in all kinds of business have turned to
YouTube for advertising purposes and it has really helped them to receive more notice all over the world!
Since The Hobbit is a huge and growing search on YouTube-and it is probably causing people to remember
LOTR and look up LOTR vids as well-if we make fan videos (of all types:music, pic slide shows, etc)
and upload them to YouTube we could make ourselves part of the popular YT search
that is going on right now! If we put links to A-U in the video descriptions and perhaps even at the end of the videos
we could bring more attention to A-U.
I was thinking it might be a good idea to even start a channel specifically for A-U. Those of us who have YouTube channels
could upload our videos to our own channels and then have them uploaded again on the main A-U channel.
If anyone has any ideas of how to contribute to this idea

I personally don't have a YouTube channel or fanvid abilities, but I'd contribute graphics if someone wanted to do a more slideshowy type vid.
