As you may or may not be aware, in recent months A-U has been undergoing some major changes and one of these changes involves our graphics section. Currently the graphics that you see be it wallpapers icons etc, are a mixture of Arweb's designs and only a few other members works. We would like to change this. As of September 1st there will be a submission window available to everyone who would like their graphics to be on show on the main site. The window will be open from the first of every month to the fifth of every month. Meaning, you will have 5 days to submit your graphics to me. Please note:[/color] - 10 banners per submission (currently only 700x150 in size) (Hobbit banners desperately needed) - 10 avatars per submisison (100x100 only) (animated or static) (Hobbit icons desperately needed) - 5 wallpapers per submission (1024x768 only) (Hobbit wallpapers desperately needed) - JPG's only please. AU doesn't seem to like PNG's Please be aware: Only your very best should be accepted for the site. I am not going to judge you, I hope that you will judge yourself and maybe take a look at what is already on offer before you submit anything. As whatever you submit to this page, I will add to the site. Any other questions then please ask.  _________________

This is very cool, JF! I was just poking around in there and it seemed like it needed an update! Questions: 1) Is there a specific size requirement for wallpapers? all the ones on the site now look like they're 1024x768. 2) Are we allowed to sign our graphics (for example, I typically put a tiny "meganelf" in the corner of mine)? 3) Do we PM them to you?  _________________

I have a question! Are the numbers of banners/avatars/wallpapers just maximum numbers per submission, or do we have to have exactly those amounts for each one? Because at the moment, I could definitely submit 10 banners and probably 10 avatars, but adding 5 wallpapers is going to be more of a challenge. So can I post some things, but not others? _________________

The numbers given are really just so a) I don't get swamped every month with a million graphics, and b) so there is hopefully going to be a steady stream of graphics on AU. If I said max 100, people might manage to add all of their best LotR graphics in one go... and then next month have none left.

^ At the moment, only the regular sized banners. I haven't had time yet to figure out a nice neat way to display other sizes as everyone seems to have a preference. And 5 pages for different sizes would look a bit too icky for my OCD-self, but I am hoping soon to address the lack of different banner sizes, when I get a moment to do so, and then I'll let you guys know here.

So are these all supposed to be LotR/Hobbit pics? Or are other things allowed... I have some Merlin and Doctor Who wallpapers if it's ok to submit those.
