The members of the Slovene Tolkien society Gil-galad are making a short movie based on Tolkien's The Hobbit. Here's a trailer if you would like to check it out: The Hobbit - trailer. The full movie should be out some time in December. PS: I wasn't sure where I should post this, so I put it here since movies are a form of art.  I would appreciate any help in getting this topic to its correct board.

That's pretty cool! XD Can't wait to see the whole thing. If only all their stuff wasn't in russian... (ok so I'm not really sure what language it is, it just seems like russian.  )

My guess would be it's in Slovenian...you know...since it was put together by members of the Slovene Tolkien Society.

Ten points to Yes, it's in Slovene/Slovenian, but the language is from the same group of languages as Russian. Most things should have English subtitles. If you would like to see subtitles on a video that doesn't have them, please let me know.

oh! lol... duh. I didn't even see that.... I just saw "tolkien society" and "short movie" then clicked on the link. (Gryffindor?  what is that?)
