I was getting a bit bored of just blending stuff, so I decided to do something different. After a lot of stuffing up and trying again, I've finally finished my first vector image. 
I made it into a desktop sized image. click here to see it!! I also did a second one. click here for it.

Those are quite good for your first vectors! However, Padme looks like she's crying in the first one. I don't really like that part of it. Otherwise, they're beautiful! |

That's awesome! Vectors are a really cool effect!  I love how her feathery hat turned in the transition.

I'm glad people like them!
Oro, (hope you dont mind me calling you that; I cant spell the rest of you name  ) I made them in photoshop cs, using the pen tool. I had an original image, and the just created layer upon layer of different coloured shapes, using the base image as a guide. I think for the first one I ended up with something like 50 layers, cause I kept stuffing it up, but didnt want to delete anything incase I changed my mind, lol.
And Beri, I dont really know the proper definition for 'vector' either, but I'm glad you like them!

very cool! I tried to make a vector once, and it didn't work out so well LOL did you find the tutorial from Padme's Wardrobe by any chance? because I know the webmiss of that site (Loleia) does a lot of Natalie Portman/Padme vectors, and she's very good at them!

There is a tutorial on padme's wardrobe? I didnt know that, lol! I actually got the idea from there, but worked it out myself, using Loleia's work as inspiration.

There's no tutorial on Padmes Wardrobe, or the Magic Box, or the Color Box, as far as I can tell. You could ask on the forum but it wouldn't matter since the old one was hacked so now we have to move.
