I just made my first attempt at an avvy in paintshop pro. I'm used to photoshop, and that program is really hard to use when you've learnt with something else.
I couldn't figure out how to resize the layer/image... ...so I just used it a bit bigger than I would have prefered. Any able to intruct me on that?

It's not the best, because I couldn't find all the tools I normally use to touch thing up a bit, but here it is....



I've been making a whole load of icons/avatars recently, and experimenting with programs, effects, colouring and styles, so I might post some later.

if this is your first attempt then good work, but personally speaking I think that the portman text could be more notable or just better if it was black(but I guess thats just me). but great anyway!

to resize, do you just use shift+s? thats what i do in psp6, i think itsthe same in other ones

that looks really good though! I wish I could do stuff like that

You think painshop is hard? *gasp* I downloaded a free trial of photshop 7 and can't even figure out how to paste a new layer...I guess it just depends what your used to!
