They are both really good!!
I like the blue color of the first one (ohh, and it goes well with the current AU layout - 5 points for making it match!!). Nice effect with the outline of the ring (I believe it is?) and I have never seen that version of the tree before, at least not so clear and detailed, wonderful!
But the second one is brilliant! The tree is so bright so the light seems to come dirctly from it and enlighten the map. Nice symbolism! Also it sort of looks like the map is on fire... because of the shadowy effect... anyway it's good!
Only thing I could put a finger on is a more practical detail. Visually it would look better if the land parts of the map were moved around a little to give room for the upper part of the tree! I know you partly solved it by making the background darker...
Good job!

Those are so pretty! Very simple and detailed at the same time. I especially like the glow of the second one!

Ooooo! I like these! They both have good points. I always like blue stuff and I really like the helmet above the tree, and the gold one has a very nice glow to it. Pretty! :)

Well, what else can I say then thanks alot for the generous compliments. Hopefully more of my crafts will come in due time (be sure to prepare sticks and stones for me by then).

@Rain-maker: the only pics i borrowed are the map and the first white tree....everything else is my work alone. The sunset shot in the last pic i took alone also few months ago....

This didnt take long, got boared so rounded up two new walls....they are VERY basic but for 10 minute works, you cant hope for much...

I called them Ithil and Anor (those are tengwar enscriptions of those names on them)

Those are really pretty! The Ithil one's ring enscription seems a little yellow-ish compared to the rest of the wallpaper, though - it seems like it would look more natural if it were more of a blue shade.

Very good for 10 mins work!
The Ithil one is my favorite though I agree with Arwen on the yellow thingy.
There might be a little too much pinkish on the last one.. the yellow color of the font is perfect!
