lol, thanks, that's definitely a first!

Ok, I have been working on a bunch of stuff at the same time, and since I hadn't updated in such a long time, I thought I'd show you guys a peek. This is actually the only one I have completely finished, which is Storm from the X-men flicks, to close off on my X-men phase for a while. The hair still needs a little retouching but I'll get to it later.



This is, as you can see, not finished yet. I'm still working on the background, but you can see pretty much what It'll look like. It's Paris and Helen from the movie Troy.



This is a set I'm currently working on. It seems that last Harry Potter movie got me inspired to dabble a little with the characters from the Goblet of Fire film, so here's what I've got so far. I've started working on the Harry one, but the rest are still just sketches. If you can't tell, it should be , from legft to right, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fleur, & Cedric, and I haven't started Krum, but this is the concept I'm going for. I think they'll come out nice.

Woah. I'm far from the first to compliment your work; it's extremely good! Your shading and general attention to detail is some of the best I've ever seen.

I was wondering what type of paper you use; the lines are so smooth and the shading so exact... If it's regular artists' drawing paper I must be doing something horribly wrong.

Thanks for the compliments! Actually the paper is Bristol paper; it's smooth (no texture) and it's thicker than regular drawing paper, so it's less likely to wrinkle or fold or bend or break.

I wish I could draw people like that... I can draw horses pretty well... but those drawings, if given a little color could almost be realistic! Wow! Eruadan... you are a good sketch artist!

Thanks Tarquende, well in a brief sum-up... I use Staedler and PrismaColor graphite pencils, White and Kneaded Gum erasers, Bristol paper, metal sharpener, and diffusers.
