W-O-W .. *gasps* Eruadan.. this are extremely fabulous drawings!! Really, I wish I could draw that well.
Oh- did you find a picture or description of the diffusers already? :biggrin:

w00t!!! Thanks!!! Yeah, this is definitely the result of loooong hours and countless trials to achieve the look. Very easily, there's about 100 layers to each of these drawings when they're being colored; you lose count after a while. It's very tedious for me because I'm basically a beginner, but the positive side is that I know how I wan't it to look I just have to figure out how to get there. I've actually done a lot of my own research and work to make these.
Probably my best and most recent accomplishment is integrating textures digitally, which is very hard to do by hand, particularly skin and tissue textures. I always work on Bristol paper, but that has a downside: because the paper is practically flat and smooth, there's no texture so unless I draw the texture, pictures turn out kind of flat. I manage to change this by cloning textures from high-res pics. As far as actual coloring goes, I used the original pics as a guide for transitions, highlights, shadows, but visualizing something unique in your mind helps you come up with something special, even if it is a tanned Harry Potter I'm colorizing most of my other drawings so I'll try and have more up soon. _________________

omg...the coloring is just absolutely amazing, did you do with photoshop or---a computer program? Surely no one can achieve the perfect smoothness with paper and pastel/pencils. Amazing!
