Post subject:  Hayden Cameo in Return of the Jedi!?
Ok, so it's not an actual cameo. I was watching the DVD that came with the SW: Episode 3 Soundtrack (very nice btw) and noticed that in that in the last video they substituted the original Anakin in the shot (the older Vader) for the younger Anakin, before he was deformed. This was one of the last scenes in Return of the Jedi, after the Empire's defeated and everyone's celebrating. Luke glimpses away from the party and notices Obi-Wan, Yoda and Anakin. It's only up for about 3 secs. but I thought it was a really nice shot and just wanted to post it in case anyone was interested.

I hadn't seen it before, but I don't think its anything special, just an edit for the clip or a plus for fans, im just a sucker for stuff like that. :yoda:

I kinda liked it the way it was.. lol. But Hayden's cute, so you can't complain too much :lightsabre: :lol:

Whoops, my mistake!! Apparently this got added to the Return of the Jedi Cut when it was reformatted for DVD; I haven't seen these yet so my bad!

There was a reason they did that. I read an article somewhere...

It was something about him having to look how he was before he became evil, if you get my meaning :blink:

Oh, yes, this part. My brother and I were watching the DVD, and all of a sudden we see Hayden there in that shot! Our first reaction was of a laughter so loud we woke up everyone in the house (we were watching it pretty late)!! But then we tought it was something nice to add and to have the 'good' Anakin reunite with his master, or brother as he once said.

but it doesnt really make sence that its young (although sexy :drool: ) anakin and old obi-wan and yoda
now there brings up an interesting question what does young yoda look like :yoda:

I'll have to check that out on our dvd :) Thanks for letting me know! I haven't watched Return of the Jedi in so long, I don't even remember that part! So I don't think I really have a preference as to whether they should have young or old Anakin in it. But since I'm in love with young Anakin, I don't mind ;) :D

Yeah I was watching my ROTJ DVD and I noticed that...I really like that they did it (even though i'm not a huge hayden fan). They also added some footage of people on different planets celebrating, including Coruscant and Naboo , and on Naboo you can hear a Gungan (maybe JarJar?) shouting "Wesa free!". Overall, I loved their little additions. :-D

Just one of many reasons I'm glad I haven't bought the DVD yet. I'll wait until my video wears out before I do that.

i lvoe the newer version!!!!!!!!!!!1 i think it just fits beacuse if they didnt put hayden in it i wouldnt know who it was! i heart that scene
