They are both great, But I like the upper one better. Otherwise the letters have all the attention, and not Haldir anymore!

I have to say I like the second on better  I like the way the letters stand out However, I really like the gold-ish banner you're using now!

I voted for the second one, but I actually meant to vote for the first one, lol. So take one vote from #2 and give it to #1. I think the text fits in better with the first. Beautiful banner, btw.
