can u do animations on GIMP?

Yeah, save it as a GIF file, (I still havn't figured it out...)

Shall I try to write you a brief tutorial, I was a bit rushed over PM.
-Put each of your banners on different layers
- Save as>> Select file type by extention>> GIF image
- A new popup window will come up that says "Export file". Click save as animation, then export
- On the next pop up window make sure Interlace is selected adn change the box next to "Delay betweeen frames were unspecified" from 100 to 3000
