Post subject: | Help with making a movie poster |
So, as the title suggests, I am making a movie poster. I have to do it as part of my english paper, where we have to choose a movie to make. The movie I am creating a poster for is "Restaurant at the End of the Universe" which is the sequal to Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. For my poster, I want it to be similar to the Hitchiker's Poster, so I need a couple of tips on how to do that. So, here's the original poster: http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/image/ ... esheet.jpg What I want to know: Do any of you have any tips on how to get that blue light effect? Also, if anyone knows a font that looks like the original, could you tell me? Any tips at all are welcome. I have adobe photoshop 4.0, so I can't get to fancy with the effects. I know that I won't be able to make it look as good as the original, but I'd like some advise on how to get it as professional as I can. |

Yep, now it does. So you want something like the glow around the planet? Not knowing what PS4 has, I'd say try making a layer of blue. Then put a layer of white where you want a glow, do a gaussion blur on that. Put that layer on screen, but not full opacity. Then duplicate it and make that one overlay. |

I'll see if I can play around in Photoshop later and help you with it, if I have the time...I am really bad at just rattling off ideas without trying them out myself first ![]() |
