I duplicated the blend, I added 'diffuse glow' to the duplicated layer, then I motion blurred it. And I sharpened it afterwards and put a bit more glow. So nope, no textures!

You can also erase the motion blur with eraser (low opacity!!). Nice blend btw

Well if you duplicate the original layer and apply blur to the duplicated one ... It shouldnt be messy. :/
