It really depends. Photoshop is more complicated but has more tools...PSP (what I use) is like a miniture (and a whole lot cheaper!) version.

I use them both and they´re pretty much the same - PSP is cheaper, PS is expensive and more *fancy*

Ya, Gil said it all!
Maybe you should get PSP first. After a while of using that, then get photoshop.

I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and I am more than happy with it. It's not as complicated as I thought it would be and after a while you can get smashing looking graphics. Just look at Arwen the Webmasters' stuff - she uses Paint. ;)

I recently got photoshop. I don't like it as much as Psp, it's more complicated.

Well, I don't know because I don't have Photoshop, but from what I've seen it's pretty expensive (around $400.00, I think) I really like PSP X, which is what I have....when you first start out it takes about thirty minutes (at least that's how it was for me) to figure out how to use it (use A-U's tutorials on the main site, they're very good, they helped me a lot) but when you know how to do it it takes about five minutes to make a graphic. So I'd get PSP if I were you, but it's your choice. :teehee:
