I want to get PS for my comp, but I don't know which version to buy. Is there a version that is better than the others? If so, please tell me so I can look it up and see how much to pay for it. Thanks, Aramel |

Photoshop cs2 is the latest version. So I'd definitly encourage you to get that one. (photoshop is really very expensive too) |

Well, it doesn't really matter which version you have. Most people use 7.0 - I use that and CS2. I usually prefer the older version - smaller program, quicker etc. On the other side, the new stuff in cs2 rocks. But they're pretty much the same (except for a coupla filters, that is) Don't buy PS from the main site though. Try ebay or amazon. |

What about Jasc Paint Shop Pro? I've heard about that one, but I want to know more before I actually step up and buy one of these software products... |

I started out with PSP (it's Corel now..) and in contrast with what other people say I found it harder than PS. Still, it's waay cheaper (Arwen uses it, JF uses it, Queen of the Stars uses it..) and pretty popular newest: psp x |

PSP is good, but really I definitely prefer PS. I have Photoshop CS2 and it works awesome, but I have never used any other version ![]() |
