Could someone possibly give some detailed instructions on how to get the text to look darker and...more "glow-y" on banners, like this one? 
I don't have Photoshop, so just a few things like "click this then this and viola!", if possible could you kinda go through some explanations? |

Well, if you have Paint Shop Pro, which I use... Make the text white, promote it to a layer, and set the layer blend mode to Overlay. Then duplicate the text, keep the blend mode, but give the duplicate layer a gaussian blur of 5.00 (if this makes it a little too bright, slide down the opacity of the original layer). If you're working with a pretty light background, try making the text black instead. Good luck! |
