I need help figuring out how to blend. The best I can find is a smudge tool, but its cumbersome and doesn't always give me the look I want. If some one knows how to blend on Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0, could you please tell me? |

Well i beat i could help you, (I have adobe photoshop elements as well, but I have a higher version, but i have worked with 4 before, and i can say that it doesnt have a lot to offer 
anyways, 1. I woudn't use the smudge tool I could you maybe cap your screen while you are in eelements so i know what tools you have? |

Well, with my photoshop, some of the butoons expand and have several options withing them, and you can only open one at a time, so I don't think that screencapping it would be very useful. Nurrantiel! That worked pretty well! Thanks a lot! *rushes off to play with photoshop* |

Well, I have PS CS2, but I think it's the same in Elements. I just use a large, soft round eraser to blend images together. For me, it's always been the easiest way

Glad I could help! I have PhotoDeluxe (totally different from everything else) so I don't know what works for other people.

Well, Grineal, I don't have a round eraser. Every eraser erases everything. Thanks for the suggestion though! |

evey photoshop has an soft round easer. click your easer tool and click the down menu button somewhere at the top (or click the right button on your mouse and it should apear) fo down until you see the soft round brushes. |

The eraser tool's ok, but personally I like the mask tool much better  Jo wrote up a good tutorial for using it a while ago: http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/forum/vie ... hp?t=12136
