Hey can anyone help me? I am trying to make an aura or glowing affect around images in a banner...I do not have an example but I have seen it here on a banner. I believe its one of Meganelf's or in one of her posts. Thanks p.s I use PSP9... ![]() |

Um....have you tried duplicating the picture, applying Gaussian Blur, and then erasing at low opacity?? If thats along the lines of what you're talking about, then Arwen has a tut for it here: http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/misc/effects.html Hope that helped!! ![]() |

Thanks those tutorials are great but not exactly what im looking for...atleast i don't think...im just looking for a way to put a hue or glow around one image in my banner...maybe I can modify a tutorial to work for this purpose...Thanks |

Um...I'd just put the picture on a white backround and then use the freehand selection tool, feathered, to leave some white as a border...but what software do you have?? I use PSP... |
