I'm really new to making banners and avatars. I need a PSP X tut to help me make backgrounds, fade, blend background and pic, and anything else that'd help a newbie like me!

I'm not sure anyone here has a PSP X, but I have a PSP 9. They have the same basic layout, so if you have any questions I'd be happy to try and answer them.

There should be an option to make a transparent background when you first create a new area. (for PSP 9, you click File>New to make a new area).
