3 border styles for banners

I guess most people know this, but it may be of help.

Border style 1: Simple one pixel border

1. First copy/duplicate the signature/avatar.

2. Then merge the layers in the sig/ava or flatten the image.

3. Then go Edit->Stroke

4. There you will find many options.
For the first border style choose these settings:


Border style 2: 3 pixel border with two or three colours

1. First copy/duplicate the signature/avatar.

2. Then merge the layers in the sig/ava or flatten the image.

3. Then go Edit->Stroke

4. There you will find many options.
Do this:


5. Now go to Edit->Stroke again, then do this:


6. And last thing is to go Edit->Stroke yet again and do this:


Now you should have this around your sig:


Border style 3: The style I use recently

1. First copy/duplicate the signature/avatar.

2. Then merge the layers in the sig/ava or flatten the image.

3. Then go Edit->Stroke

4. There you will find many options.
For the first border style choose these settings:


5. Then add a border in this style:
