I have Paint shop pro 8, and I simply can not find the text formatting place. The only text I can use now is preset, and I really need to change the font and color. The help list does nothing for me, I just can't find where to go!

I'm not sure about PSP8 but in PSP7 once you click on the text symbol and then click on your canvass a box pops up where you input your text and here it lets you change the font, colour etc.

By changing the background and forground colors, you can change your text color in the newer versions of PSP. In the older, use the method Elanor suggested.
