I have PS 7, but I think it would work the same way...
Click the Brush Tool(it looks like a paint brush).
Near the top of your screen now there should be a down arrow, click that[circled].
Then you should have a drop-down box with another arrow[also circled].
That gives you a list, just click 'Load Brushes'.
Hope that helps.

You can save them anywhere, just as long as you are able to find them. I have downloaded Brushes, and I have a spacific folder with all my brushes. I don't know about you, but it helps me. Also, another piece of advice, remember where you saved the brushes!
A good place to save them is in your folder. I would do your folder>brushes to make it really easy.

With PSP 8 it's slightly more complicated than in other versions, but as long as you know where you've saved your brushes you're good. Once you have the brushes saved open up PSP and go to File >> Import >> Custom Brush. A window pops up, and then click the Browse button. Find the folder where you put your brushes, and select all the brushes you want to import. Once you've opened them and you see them on the left, click Add in the middle so they appear on the right instead. Click OK (or Import...can't remember which) and you now have brushes. Hope that helps you out. It took me awhile to figure it out as well. XP

Evenstar, thanks so much! I'm going to try that today and I'll let you know if I succeed!
EDIT: Do the brushes have to be a certain format? Cause, it's not loading bmp, jpeg, jpg, or psp

I'm saving them with the other brushes: Photoshop >> Presets >> Brushes.
