Which is better for making things like signatures? I currently use Photoshop. How many differences are there between Paint Shop and Photoshop?
Also, I run Photoshop on my Mac, if that matters.
+ I would like to know differences between regular Photoshop and Photoshop (Elements? Is that what it's called?)

Well, I've never used Paint Shop Pro, but I hear that its easier to manage than Photoshop and more user-friendly, and you can achieve similar results as you would in Photoshop. I've used Photoshop since forever, its the only software I've ever owned for making graphics, and in my opinion, the best there is. It's just a matter of getting used to it. The difference between Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, is that Elements has only some features of Photoshop, generally the ones that most people use when editing pictures and make graphics.

I use both and I find Paintshop is easier to use. I tried to use Photoshop and couldn't get the hand of it.

I´ve used PSP, PS, and Elements and they were all pretty easy for me... Maybe because I had Oro and SM to write random tutos for me

I've used Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro and if you already have PS, don't buy PSP; PS can do way more effects! I started on PSP and moved to PS and didn't find it much harder at all...I guess if you start on PS and have some good tuts, it won't be too hard!

I've used photoshop of quite a many years now, At first its can be extremely difficult to get used to, but now that I know the in's and outs of the program, the simplicity of it is great.
I highly reccomend photoshop, read up on tons of tutorials, how to mask, blending options, its all realy great!

PSP is simpler to use, but PS has more effects. I currently use PS6 and have been using it for a few months (not a lot, compared to others).

Actually PS is easier even though I started out with PSP.
Elements... well, they´re cheaper but I didn´t really find them good... sorry :/

I'd say Photoshop is better ... I have Photoshop CS2 and I've been using it for quite awhile ... it works really well and it has aLOT of cool effects ... I highly recommend it
