Whatever I put on a new slide shows up on all the old slides in an animation. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening?

Do you mean when you put a pic over the first pic, it shows up over all of the other ones?

Yes! Whatever I do to edit the layers shows up on all of them.

You have to edit the layers first before making them into frames.

I think you need to turn off the visibility of the new layer on the slides that you don't want it on

Wait ... how on earth did they make changes to all the layers at once? I want to do that! Cos I have about 51 layers and I can't possibly edit each one exactly alike ... see my avvy ... I want to add unanimated words on it, but I have no idea how to add the words on all of the frames at once... It used to work when I didn't want it to ...

I think you need to make the avatar so it's completely finished, then add a layer on top of all the others with your text, and it should show up on them all At least, that always worked for me...

Oh ... but mine's an animation ... do I make a new frame or do I redo the entire animation?

No...just put your text at the top of the layouts.
But if you're doing animated banenrs, just put your first banner over all of them, and in the second frame, just lower the opacity to zero, and do the same for the second banner in the third frame, third banner in the fourth frame, and so on and so forth.

That's what I'm doing right now, but it's such a hassle. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
Thanks, everyone!
