Viking Metal, Folk Metal are my current metallic passions.

Korpiklaani, Ensiferum, Finntroll, Turisas, Amon Amarth, Tyr, Moonsorrow are all epic and mighty.

Viking and Folk metal are awesome sub-genres.

Go have a listen of Raivynn's and my favorite Online Radio Station; Warrior Radio:
http://www.warriorradio.com/

They play nothing but awesome Metal music mixed with movie scores - anything that is Epic and Fantasy-like - Sword Metal really.

I love it as well. It's great for discovering Metal bands you hadn't listened to before, or awesome songs you hadn't heard before

And we just gotta love it when they play "Woad to Ruin" from the King Arthur soundtrack :notworthy:

I am now completely obsessed with that music.
Utterly, hopelessly obsessed.

 welcome to the club! I've been obsessed with that music since the summer of 2004 when I saw King Arthur in the theater for the first time

That's the thing though, I tend not to notice movie scores till after. I get too involved in the film itself. Even now when I watch LotRs I dont hear the music, it's just sort of there in the background. But I can listen to my soundtrack cd's over and over and over and just drool. :P
But it was the awesome Warrior Radio that brought Woad to Ruin to my attention and well..the rest is history.
:-D

hehehe awesome :)

I tend to be the exact opposite, the score is usually the first thing I pay attention to, but then again I am a proud movie score geek so it's kind of a given that it'll be the first thing I notice when watching a film.

I've been a movie score fan for 10 years now - haven't looked back since :D

I love movie soundtracks, but I tend to like the ones I enjoyed the movie from and then seek out the music.

Yeah that's pretty common. For me it's often the case of either not seen the movie at all but still love the score, or didn't like the movie much but loved the score. I have scores from about 150 different movies on my mp3 player/computer :D Geek, yes please!

Wow, Worrior radio... hear me roarrr!!!
Thanks, I just had a quick look at the site. I have to download the music player... might do it later (= another day). I'm curious to listen to it, but I must admit I have a slight feeling it wont be to my liking (and poor soft ears, lol)
